TOP Seven Awards

All of the models will be judged by participants. This show is unique in the fact that the top 7 models will be selected by participants. We will not hand out class awards. We want this to be a day of sharing and showing your work. It is a modified NNL format. Last year awards were well distributed among automotive, armor, aircraft and misc model classes. The awards are designed by Don Molitor and then laser cut. Each year will be different. 2016 award is pictured to the left.

Best German Automotive Subject
This is a special class with a separate 5.00 entry fee. The winner is selected by a panel of judges who look for build quality, fit, finish and creativity. Compete for Cash and Custom Award! Your build will start with a German based automotive kit. (this includes cars, trucks, motorcycles) Build your in any manner you see fit!
All entry fee money is awarded to the winner, all ages welcome to compete.

This is a special class with a separate 5.00 entry fee. The winner is selected by a panel of judges who look for build quality, fit, finish and creativity. This class will have a cash pay out and custom award. . All ages welcome. Entrants may build any model that that begins life as an egg plane or cartoon based model from any genre. Examples: Meng tanks, ships, aircraft and cartoon figures. Atlantis has several kits along with Hasegawa, AMT, Revell, Suyata, Great Wall Hobby, Tiger Models and more. All genre are accepted the kits must start as a cartoon plane but may ne modified and custom touches added as the builder sees fit.

JUNIOR AWARDS
All Juniors will receive a plaque made of wood with a dye sublimation metal plate for being a participant in addition to competing for Best of Show Honors. Custom made Awards for Gold , Silver, and Bronze will be handed out by contest officials who will also consider the peoples vote as part of the selection for gold, silver and bronze.

All scales all kits all genre welcome. Models must have an animal name / paint scheme to be considered. Example Batman Figure, Jaguar Auto, Tiger Tank, F15- Eagle. You get the idea. Killer Custom Trophy awaits the winner as judged by a group of zoo keepers!

Gary Schmidt Memorial Award
​
Gary Schmidt was a main main sponsor WAMC for many years.
Gary was the founder of Scale Auto and friend of our club. Gary also owned a couple of our Dioramas which all helped fund this show. This award will be selected by club members and represent what Gary tried to through Scale Autos early years.
